It’s going to be a pretty light week. I’m only getting 8 books, which means I’ll probably have enough to get the newest Scalped trade.

-We’re in the home stretch of AvX and it’s seems the Phoenix force is/has started to effect Cyclops and company. Emma fried Clint, Namor tried to invade Wakanda, and Colossus blew up on Kitty. That issue of Wolverine and the X-Men was a surprise. I’m not used to seeing Colossus so violent, especially towards Kitty of all people. I also find it odd that none of Marvel’s post AvX plans have mentioned Hope. Or have I missed something?

-The last issue of Avenging Spider-Man was a lot of fun. Captain Marvel + Spider-Man + Robyn Hood = a funny comic. I actually hope the Robyn Hood character sticks around after this story.

-I’ve decided I’ll give Hawkeye a try. I’m not really a fan of Clint, but I do like Kate Bishop. Fraction and Aja are also a great creative team. If their Immortal Iron Fist work is any indication this book could do well.

-X-Men will have more Storm leading the team, hiding things from Cyclops, and not backing down from Colossus. Yes!
