Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter
I was a little skeptical about this movie, but the trailer looks like it could turn out to be entertaining. It has a really cool plot and setting.
Post-Weekend Thoughts
Well I had to institute a tumblr blackout starting Friday night after too much spoilerish material was being posted on the Avengers. NO SPOILERS here but I will say I think the movie is perfect. Maybe it won’t get any Oscars, Golden Globes, or SAG awards but I think within the comic community it can contend for picture of the year. I do think it is the best superhero movie ever…so far anyway. It’ll be interesting to see how Batman and Spider-Man do, although both of those look equally awesome.
As far as Agent Coulson I think he’s such a fan favorite because in a lot of ways he’s just like us. He’s a comic fanboy. He believes in superheros. He’s one of us you know? You’d expect him to have a huge collection, attending cons, and hanging out in shops every Wednesday.
I also liked how Nick Fury closely reflected his comic book persona. He wasn’t a totally honest leader. This Nick had secrets and made tough decisions despite them maybe upsetting a few people. Like Nick in the comics he did what was necessary to get the job done even if it meant deception or dishonesty. Sure he’s a straight shooter, but he also seems like he knows a lot more than what he lets on to.
Also one of my favorite parts of the movie was obviously Hulk smashing things. A little mindless rage and destruction can be awesome. I also loved how they handled Hawkeye and his entire character. The trick arrows and quiver tech was really dope.

In sports news the Nats took the series from Philadelphia. I would have liked to see them win all 3 games, but 2 out of 3 ain’t bad. If you’re a baseball fan you should be checking out the games. Bryce Harper is going to be a special player.
The absolute worse thing anyone writer, director, or whoever can do to Wade. You take away his mouth and you take away everything that makes the character funny and entertaining. A Deadpool who cannot speak is not Deadpool. This was a bad movie, but I’d probably watch this again before I watch Spider-Man 3.
Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengeance
It looks a lot more interesting than the first which I thought was so so. Has anyone seen the movie yet? Is anyone planning to see it?
I remember sitting in the theater watching this scene play out and I thought how amazing the acting was by Fassbender. I could literally watch a movie where he plays Magneto and does nothing but hunt nazis. Fassbender in my opinion was at his best when he was playing the angry Magneto.
Classic rumble - The Baseball Furies vs. The Warriors
My favorite has always been the fight with the Punks, but this is my second best fight scene. It’s too bad this was the only scene where Ajax got to throw down.
